I was skeptical since it'd been 12 yrs but the food tasted the same as when the family owned it. They need to be more competitively priced. We were on vacay treating our whole family, I didn't really mind the pricey bill, the memories were priceless.

Great pizza place! Friendly staff & great food! Different and better than the typical pizzas you get from places like the hut or pizza ranches. Everyone should try it atleast once if they can!

We found ourselves in Boone about 8 pm needing a place for dinner. We texted friends who advised that late on a Thursday there isn't much open aside from fast food. They told us to try Belluci but not to be scared away as the food was some of the best for pizza. This got me curious and off we went. We pulled up and Belluci's is tucked away on a corner with apartments up above. We couldn't find a parking lot but found some street parking close by. As we walked up there was an older gentleman outside enjoying the night air. He welcomed us and told us to go on in and have a seat he would be in briefly. Walking in was like taking a step back into the 70's. Older booths with table cloths, brightly painted walls and pictures plastered everywhere. We found a seat and was greeted by a young lady who brought our menus. The menu offers Sandwiches, pizza, salads, no alcohol. We selected a small taco pizza, order of garlic bread and 2 soft drinks. Drinks are served in a can with a cup of ice. Garlic bread was loaf bread full of flavor. Taco pizza had a crisp crust, nice flavor and fresh lettuce and tomato toppings. All for $23.

Amazing local pizza joint. This place has been around since the 60's and has been a consistent favorite. Original crust. Original sauce. You won't find this pizza anywhere else in the world.

This is a family run establishment that has been in business since 1965. One taste of the pizza and you'll understand why it has lasted so long. Delicious! It has a unique flavor that would pass for gourmet in a large city. If you're visiting Boone, stop at Belluci's and treat yourself.

I highly recommend the Thompson. It is served as an open face sandwich topped with a light layer of their special mayonnaise, ground beef with small bits of bacon mixed in, onion, bell pepper, green olives, and a layer of melted cheese. This is a large sandwich that will fill you up. The favors of the ingredients complement each other very well. The pizza is also very good, I would argue it is the best in town. I counted at least 6 other places to order pizza in Boone, but none of them are in the same league as Belluci's. The Pizza is a thin crust pie. The crust is crispy and has a delicious flavor. I also recommend their warm ham and cheese sandwich. If Guy Fieri, from the Food Network Show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives", comes to Boone, Iowa. This would be his first stop. They are not open on Mondays and they only take cash.
